18 STEPS
1. Some contracts require accurate reporting of Arrival and Dropoff Times. You may find that you have to edit times to validate trips. The first step is to open TripMaster and on the Daily Schedule click on the Route you wish to examine.
2. Then, in the Display Pen section of the Daily Schedule, right click on the ride you want to adjust or view.
3. Now with your mouse, hover over the Validate sub-menu.
4. Then click on the section of the ride you wish to edit. You will be able to view the Arrival Times of both jobs, pickup and dropoff, but you will only be able to edit the leg you choose from this menu. Here, we'll click Pickup.
5. A small new window will open. This window shows you the Pickup Arrival Time, Pickup Time, and Pickup Odometer, as well as Dropoff and Fare information. Click the Pickup Arrival Time field to enter a new pickup arrival time if needed.
6. Once you are done, click Save to close the window.
7. You are also able to adjust the Arrival Times of rides that are still In Transit on your daily schedule.
8. The process is the same, just right click the Ride you wish to view or adjust.
9. Click the section of the ride you wish to edit. Here we are selecting the Pickup.
10. Click Save when you've made your time adjustment.
11. If you are changing a route that is already Validated you will have to Save the route from the Trip Validation page. This can be accessed by either the Trip Validation button or
12. Right Click on the route that has been Validated for the day.
13. Click Validate
14. From the Validation page you can check and adjust the arrival and drop-off times for a route that has already been completed. Once you have made the correct changes simply click the Save button on the Validation Page.
15. If you operate Will-Call rides, you must mark your will-call rides ready (Mark Ready) before the driver arrives for their pickup. Find your will-call in the Holding Pen and right click on the trip.
16. Then select Mark Ready when the rider calls in. Doing this will Time Stamp the trip with a green highlight, and it will be ready to be sat on the desired route.
17. Then you select Seat Reservation to the appropriate route. This will prevent the driver from being able to Arrive for the passenger prior to the Mark Ready time. Driver will receive a notification when the will-call is added to their route.
18. And that's it! You can now view and adjust Arrival Times.
