If a driver has trips after midnight you will want those trips scheduled and seated on the next days after midnight route making sure the driver and vehicle is assigned that is to perform those morning rides.

Steps for when a rider is on-board in-transit and it goes past midnight.

Step 1:

Right click on the reservation in transit and choose copy.

Step 2:

Then after the copy is made you will change the date of the copy to the next day, change the trip number to the appropriate After midnight route as well as change the account to the OVRNT account. In addition, ensure the correct driver and vehicle is assigned to the mornings after-midnight route.

Step 3:

After midnight happens and the copy is on his tablet the driver will arrive and perform the trip on the tablet that is currently on-board so that it shows in transit and continue as normal for the drop off

Step 4

Dispatch will want to manually drop off the reservation that was on-board through midnight (see illustration) if it is still showing in transit on the day of the original reservation or the driver needs to go ahead and perform the drop off before midnight so that ride is validated and marked Rode if it is still showing in transit. It’s probably easier for dispatch to do when they create the copy
