If you have the Vehicle Maintenance Module enabled, you can create and manage Maintenance Plans for your vehicles. To do so, the first step is to open CTS Software - TripMaster and with your mouse, hover over Vehicle Maintenance.

First, we'll create a list of Service Categories that will help you organize maintenance services.
Click Service Categories. -
Click New Service Category to add a new category to the list.
Prior entries can be edited with the blue Edit button, or deactivated with the blue Wrench icon. -
Click Name and enter the name of the new Service Category.

Click Save when you are finished.

Your new category will now appear in the list with any other categories you've already made.
Next we'll add the Vendors you use to service your vehicles.
Go back to Vehicle Maintenance. -
Click Vendors.
This will bring you to a list of all of your approved vendors, and we'll add a new one. -
Click New Vendor to add a new approved vendor.
Just like in other lists, items can be edited using the blue Edit button, or deactivated using the Wrench icon. -
Here we can fill in the information needed to send a vehicle to this mechanic or service station.

When you are finished filling in the information, click Save to go back to your Vendor List.

Now we have added the required information to begin adding Services. These will be attached to a Vendor, and a Service Category.
With your mouse, hover over Vehicle Maintenance. -
Click Services to see your Service List and add new Services.

Here we can see any services you are have already added. As in other lists, items can be edited with the blue Edit button, and deactivated using the Wrench icon.
To add a new service, click New Service -
Here we can add a Name to the service you are creating, and click the Category drop down menu to select which Service Category this new service will be organized under.
Here we'll select the Category we just added, Belts. -
In Default Interval Days we can assign the length of time allowed to elapse between completed services.
This is measured in days, and can be left at 0 if there is no scheduled time between services. -
In Default Interval Miles we can assign the number of miles allowed to elapse between completed services.

Click Add Approved Vendor to view a drop down list of all the Vendors you have added.

Click a Vendor to add it to the list of approved vendors for this service. Multiple vendors can be added.

If you add an approved Vendor you will be prompted to add a quoted cost of service.

Click Save when you are finished adding Vendors to this service and when you have verified that the information on this page is correct.
Remember, you can always Edit services from the Service List. -
To add Maintenance Plans for your vehicles, first click on Maintenance Plans under the Vehicle Maintenance menu.
Until you add a Maintenance Plan, the services you have created will not be tied to any vehicles. -
In the Maintenance Plan list we can view and edit our Plans. To add a new plan, click New Maintenance Plan.
Maintenance plans will allow you to request and complete service for your vehicles. -
Add a Name to this plan. This will appear in a drop down menu later, so name it something short and easy to find.

Add a Description to this plan, list any additional information about this maintenance plan here.

Clicking Add Service will bring you to a drop down menu containing all the services you have added in the Service List.

Here you can choose any services you'd like to add to this maintenance plan. Here we're clicking Replace Belts to add it to this plan.
You can add multiple services to the same plan. -
You'll see the Interval Days and Interval Miles that were added to the service here.
Click Save when you have named the plan and added all the services you need. -
That's it! You've set up a maintenance plan!
